*** THIS CLASS IS BEING HELD IN WILMINGTON, NC  ***

*** This class DOES NOT meet GEORGIA CE REQUIREMENTS (70% Hands-On) ***

CLASS DATES: April 13 & 14, 2026

9AM – 4PM Both Days

As massage therapists we know the importance of our forearms and hands; as well as the beating they take each day at home, at work and at play.  And we are not the only ones who use these important muscles daily – many of our clients need specific attention here as well.

This course focuses on the muscles and other structures of the forearm and hand from an anatomy perspective, as well approaching both self-care and client treatment through stretching exercises for each muscle or set of muscles. A brief overview of common pathologies is included. We will exchange a forearm and hand massage addressing the specific muscles during the afternoon of Day 2.

IMPORTANT:  We will be stretching with a partner and self-stretching while reviewing muscles of the forearm and hand. We will be clothed and sitting a good deal of the time.

DO: Dress in layers for comfort.  Wear shirts with loose sleeves, especially if long-sleeved, as it will be helpful to be able to expose your arms from the elbow down during stretching exercises and easier to disrobe upper body for work on Day 2.

LUNCH: We will take an hour for lunch each day.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Refund (less $50 processing fee) if cancellation received at least two weeks prior to the course start date. Cancellations less than two weeks before the course will not receive a refund.*     *Exception: Covid, RSV or flu symptoms, or other medical emergency with Doctor’s note (or for Covid – a PCR Covid test taken at a pharmacy or Doctor’s office).
