$220.00

COURSE LOCATION: FAYETTEVILLE,  NC

CLASS DATE/TIME: April 12, 2026 – 9AM – 5PM

Ethics in the morning. Self-Care Ball Rolling in the afternoon. 7CE Total.

The Ethics Course will focus on North Carolina Law and Boundaries. Part of our NC Rules & Regulations requirements is to follow all city, county and state laws. Being aware of existing and new changes to NC Law is critical to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients and maintain the stature of our profession. Beyond that there is a human component – the dance of respecting our own boundaries and the boundaries of our clients – which may or may not be the same. Come explore these topics with other NC Massage Therapists in a 3 hour live Ethics course. Bring a sweater or blanket if you get cold easily.

Your ball-rolling class includes a 2 DVD set and 2 Yoga Tune-up (YTU) Balls developed by Jill Miller, author of The Roll Model Method. We will discuss different ways to use the of YTU, how they affect fascia and proprioceptors and spend the rest of the afternoon using the YTU balls for self-care in the shoulder, hip and forearm areas.

Description

ETHICS & SELF-CARE BALL ROLLING 7CE
Date: APRIL 12, 2026
Time: 9AM-5PM
Location: Breathing Space, 1404 Raeford Rd., Fayetteville NC

WHAT TO BRING: A pen for taking notes. Dress in comfortable layers. You may want a fleece or extra layer for the Ethics session. For the ball rolling – clothes that are NOT loose and baggy, and are NOT thick (sweats, jeans) are ideal.

YOGA MAT: Bring a yoga mat if you have your own (if you can bring more than 1 mat please let me know). Or borrow one if you can (most people who yoga regularly go to a studio where they can borrow for a day or two).  And if neither is feasible, bring a thick blanket that will give you padding and not be too slippery on the floor (reply back and let me know if you do not have access to a mat – we may be able to get others to supply some).

LUNCH: Super cool food truck lot nearby (3 blocks walking). Alternately bring lunch or plan to drive to other things nearby. There is a refrigerator and microwave on site.

PARKING:  There is parking in front of the studio and a couple spaces behind it. If the lot is full, you can park in the apartment complex to the right. Use the spaces closest to the road.

See you in class!  Melissa / 828.450.4555
