August 8 & 9, 2026 – Easy Deep Tissue (14 CE) in JOHNSON CITY, TN

9AM – 5PM Both Days

Do your hands or wrists hurt after a deep tissue massage?  Do you find yourself exhausted at the end of a long day of massage?  Do you love being a massage therapist but worry you will have to quit soon because your body just can’t handle it anymore?  If you answered “YES!” to one or more of these questions, then this class is for you.

When we have finished you will have a solid understanding of how to safely and productively use your body as a tool to deliver deep tissue massage; you will have practiced palpation skills with your fists, forearms and elbows and have more confidence in using these tools regularly in your work setting; and you will be able to deliver more pressure with less effort.

Therapists who have taken this course say they no longer hurt, and they feel like they could practice forever.

MASSAGE TABLES: I will let you know a week before class if you need to bring your massage table. Plan to enter the building at the back for easy access to the Campbell Room.

2 sets of sheets with face cradle covers, a blanket if you get cold, any additional bolstering you need beyond a standard bolster, oil or lotion for deep tissue massage work. A pen for taking notes. Wear clothes easy to get in and out of for table work. TRIM YOUR NAILS SHORT BEFORE CLASS.

CANCELLATION POLICY : Refund (less $50 processing fee) if cancellation received at least two weeks prior to the course start date. Cancellations less than two weeks before the course will not receive a refund.*     *Exception: Covid, RSV or flu symptoms, or other medical emergency with Doctor’s note (or for Covid – a PCR Covid test taken at a pharmacy or Doctor’s office).
