Melissa has been an NCBTMB CE Provider for over fifteen years and her classes are approved for South Carolina Massage Therapists (except Ethics) and some meet the CE Broker requirements for GA Massage Therapists (Easy Deep Tissue, Hip & Shoulder Girdles). If your State requirement is that you attend massage therapy continuing education courses taught by an NCBTMB Provider, then Melissa’s courses work for you!
Teaching continuing education for massage therapists enables Melissa to pass on tips and techniques she has learned from working with over 10,000 clients over the last 25 years. As a relatively small person, Melissa was grateful to study Russian sports massage with a co-worker, fairly early in her career. That course work combined with her common sense and ingenuity and drive to work smarter, not harder, has given her the experience and skill set to develop continuing education courses that will prolong your career as a massage therapist, whether you are small or tall. Her course content is unique, and massage therapists have even traveled from Washington D.C., Missouri and Maine to attend her Massage CE Courses.
Melissa believes that massage therapy continuing education is important for therapists and the profession of massage and supports required hours at the state level. Her regular continuing education teaching locations are Asheville, NC; Raleigh, NC; Cornelius (Charlotte), NC; Johnson City, TN and Lenoir City, TN, however she does travel upon request to spas and schools that request her expertise.
